Mastering Resort Design

STUDIO NvS Director Fiona Nixon continues her engagement with the National University of Singapore School of Architecture in 2020, this year running a master’s studio in luxury resort design titled ‘Peace, Grace and Place’. Following this conceptual arc through experience, operational and architectural design, the studio has begun with research into the brand vision and standards of operators Aman, Six Senses, Banyan Tree and Capella, and brief development for sites in Flores and Anji. A great line-up of STUDIO NvS collaborators including Matthew Shang Design Office (Singapore) and One Landscape (Hong Kong) are contributing their expertise, helping to develop the next generation of Singapore’s renowned hospitality designers.
